The aim of the website is to give to others what Jan found so vital in helping her recovery and to getting her through the good and bad times along the way. The objective of Cancer Buddies Network (CBN) is to help everyone find that special buddy on the internet for the purpose of sharing, caring and supporting each other through the ups and downs of their personal experiences.

Walk It is a website that aims to get people walking more. It offers walking in and around town as a smart choice; no timetables to keep to, no journey delays, no overcrowding, a healthy and green option, free, direct and access to services en route! The service will help people make informed decisions about whether to walk for all or part of any given journey.

The UnLtd Award has enabled Jamie to develop the website functionality to include additional towns and cities more effectively and the development of a more robust interactive element for users.

Denise Stephens – Enabled by Design

Enabled by Design is an online community that supports those looking to make adjustments to their lives through the use of assistive equipment be it as a result of disability, injury or a personal identified need. It aims to make independent living more accessible through the use of clever modern design by bridging the communication gap between users of assistive equipment and designers and encouraging discussion and collaboration.

Enabled by Design provides an opportunity for people to air their views, talk through ideas and find some answers, giving them the chance to adapt their lives in a way that fits around their individual needs.
