Rehane Abraham, Christopher Mead, and Jayne West's project involves the production of a play with specific environmental themes, to raise local awareness to environmental concerns, and to inspire solutions. The performance involves a small group of people who will train for 7 or 8 months before presenting the play at the Yeovil Arts/Culture week. A series of workshops and drama classes will also be run to encourage local people to take part. It is hoped that the play will create a community spirit, as well as highlighting areas that need to be addressed. The group also hopes the inclusion of the play at the arts festival will inspire more young people to attend.
