What are UnLtd looking for?
Do you have an idea that could improve the social issues faced by people in your community?
Projects could be aimed at:
-
Bringing older and younger people together
- Supporting the needs of older people or delivering a service that meets a need in your community
- All age groups (focussing on themes such as health, arts, sports or community)
- Developing a social venture that will benefit your wider community
What do I get from the Award?
As well as funding, Award Winners will be able to participate in a wider impact programme which could include:
- Residential training, networking events and learning journeys
- Policy workshops looking at issues faced by older social entrepreneurs and how long term change can be achieved
- An on-line toolkit developed to provide additional support with local case studies
Through the implementation of the UnLtd Engage Ignite Awards programme and the research and data gathered through evaluation, we hope to promote a better understanding of the needs of an ageing society and how over 50s can contribute to society as a whole in Northern Ireland.
