UnLtd and HEFCE are delighted to announce that we are now open for applications to SEE Change
The latest phase of the SEE Change programme aims to mainstream social entrepreneurship activity and support within the Higher Education sector in England.
The SEE Change programme from UnLtd and HEFCE (Higher Education Funding Council for England) aims to embed support for social entrepreneurs in the Higher Education (HE) sector. It also seeks to scale-up support for high achieving social entrepreneurs, as well as to create regional and thematic clusters for mutual support.
SEE Change is now open for applications to ‘Strand 3 – Clusters’ and ‘Strand 4 – Scale and Growth’ areas of its programme. All HEFCE-funded Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are eligible to apply for one or both of these SEE Change Strands.
The scheme will establish the skill set, metrics, quality and innovation systems for a vibrant and lasting future where students and staff within (HEIs) can act to transform their communities and the wider world in which they live. We hope to be able to work together with HEIs in order to build a sustainable ecosystem of support for social entrepreneurs within Higher Education (HE).
Throughout February and March, the UnLtd Partnership Support Managers (PSMs) will have some availability to discuss your developing proposals. They will also be able to help, if needed, with the co-ordination and facilitation of meetings or small networking events to bring interested parties together to discuss and develop proposals, particularly for the Clusters strand of this programme.
All applicants must complete a full application form outlining how they will deliver the initiative in line with the programme specifications, as outlined in this prospectus. Completed applications must be submitted to SEEchange@unltd.org.uk by 1pm Monday 24th March 2014.
Before you apply, please make sure you have read the ‘SEE Change Prospectus‘, which you can download directly below.
