A recent survey highlighted 72% of our award winners significantly improved their business planning skills after receiving mentoring and pro bono support.
Volunteering your time, providing expert advice or providing pro bono support to our amazing award winners will allow you to use your skills and passion to support social entrepreneurs to be the business leaders of tomorrow.

Our Award Winners tell us the difference your support, pro bono and expert advice makes:

It made me feel secure that there was help, my mentor was very good at getting me to look ahead and think long term

I wasn’t just pushing through on my own, sort of blindly…encouragement was there and that knowledge base

Invaluable. It’s been fantastic for confidence building, enabled me to pursue an opportunity with my social venture I would not have had otherwise, to have that financial belief and practical solutions that was priceless

If you could be ‘the difference’ we would love to hear from you.

REASONS TO GET INVOLVED AND OFFER SUPPORT THROUGH UNLTD

Help people grow

More than anything else, social entrepreneurs want someone to listen to them and help them put their ideas into action. By asking questions, making suggestions and encouraging someone to act, you will help them build skills and self-confidence which they’ll take with them wherever they go.

Drive sustainability

Whether you listen to someone’s ideas and ask them challenging questions or help someone sort out their cashflow, or advise them on the appropriate legal structure for their business, you are giving practical support so that they can make their social enterprise more solid than it would be without your help.

Be inspired

Working with a social entrepreneur will introduce you to issues you might not have known about and challenge your way of seeing and doing things. It will teach you to listen and to let someone find their own solutions. And you’ll be inspired by people’s passion and determination.

Feel good

Working with a social entrepreneur is a great way to pass on your experience and expertise and to give something back to the community around you.

“I went to a networking event with UnLtd… Some great speakers and even more importantly, some terrific young social entrepreneurs being nurtured and supported from our universities. Wonderful stories and examples of where business mentors can make a difference to people who are being brave enough to start out on their own and want to benefit others in the process.”
