  • Thomas McAlister

    he/him/his

Social Entrepreneur Support Manager at UnLtd

Thomas is a Social Entrepreneur Support Manager at UnLtd, working on the frontline supporting social entrepreneurs from across Scotland. His job is to find social entrepreneurs and help them with funding and support to make big things happen. He's interested in finding solutions to spark more social innovation in our most deprived communities, which are often areas that could benefit most from social enterprise activity. Prior to UnLtd he worked in the private sector in logistics and supply chain management. As you can imagine, logistics isn’t the most exciting job and so he decided to re-train and did a postgraduate qualification in Community Development and worked in a number of community development and regeneration roles. He then found UnLtd and has enjoyed working with and supporting social entrepreneurs since 2007.
