Workshop Catalogue

UnLtd's workshop series offers practical sessions, designed to address key topics that are relevant to social entrepreneurs

It is for those of you who might be starting out on your journey as well as those who are well on the way to creating social change and wanting to improve knowledge in key areas. We intend that our workshops ignite your Spark for social change and build your Mettle to develop a viable and resilient business.

Our Spark workshops will help you to learn about being a social leader. We aim to give you opportunities for personal growth, leading with equity and achieving impact. They will help build your confidence and knowledge to lead well, and to look after yourself in the process.

Our Mettle workshops will equip you with the knowledge to build strong foundations from which to grow your social venture. From setting up at the start and developing your business, managing the finances, through to reaching customers, promoting your work and selling your product or service.

Please use this guide and work with your Support Manager to help you identify the most appropriate sessions and methods of learning for you. As award winners you are able to access the workshops programme for up to a year after your support period has ended. Invitations to workshops will be directly emailed out to you and once you sign up you will receive full joining instructions.

We ask about accessibility for each workshop so we can brief the facilitators effectively. We endeavour to support all our award winners as much as possible with the resources we have available, this has included bringing in BSL interpreters and sharing materials in advance but please ask if there is something we can do that will support your participation.

In each section you will see an overview of each workshop we run including some key learning objectives. To help you find the right workshops for you please use the key below.

  • Time commitment: how much time the training will take.
  • Topic knowledge: here we have given a guide to what level of experience or understanding of the topic might be required, for example ‘new to subject’, 'some prior knowledge', 'stretching learning' or 'expert level'.
  • Format: This will help you to understand what to expect from the session in terms of interactivity and presentation methods.
  • Delivery: Some of our workshops are offered as a stand alone workshop, some as a series. In a series, we intend to help you to accelerate your knowledge in a certain subject over a series of staged workshops- such as our leadership series. To get the most of these we recommend you attend each workshop in the series.
